At around 11:30 p.m., I stepped outside my house to gaze upon the mesmerizing beauty of the moon hovering in the night sky. I wanted to capture the moment, so I decided to take this opportunity and take a few pictures (Which would also help me become comfortable with the camera and learn more about its features). I spent a lot of time switching the settings for different results. It was a lot of fun! At moments like these, I realize how photography truly is a major part of my life and something that I love deeply.
Several groups of clouds stretched over the night sky as well. Every now and then, they would pass by the moon covering her momentarily like a veil. She (The Moon) reminded me of a blushing bride covering her face every now and then rather shyly and yet her beauty was so striking, unable to be avoided.
And here is another picture of the moon glowing brightly. The best part, and also the most enjoyable, was seeing how changing the settings affected the overall result of the image. I hope you all enjoy this pictures! Thank you.
Great shots, Jenny. This is near the best time of the year to see the bright moon. In China, we have Moon Festival yesterday. It is a day to worship the moon and enjoy being with close relatives and friends.
ReplyDeleteThere is a Moon Festival activity on coming Tuesday at the Fiesta Room of Loftin at around 11 a.m. You and other classmates should go cover that.
Beautiful shots of the harvest moon! I did notice the moon too but didn't take any pics of it. Good for you!
