I saw these birds on the pathway by the school tennis courts and the man walking toward them. I knew that they would probably fly away when he got close so I just focused and got the shot when it happened.
Mutual understanding: We all agreed that we post at least 1 photo a week to this blog. We will not post any photo coming from a Ranger story before it is published. When posting photos of Ranger assignments, we will put credit as such: Mary Jane/The Ranger in red right next to or under the photo.
Very nice composition Dave. I believe the reason for why this picture had such good results was because you expected what was going to happen and you were prepared for it. Great job!
